How many different places (cities, houses, apartments, dorm rooms, etc.) have you lived in? Which is your favorite? And your least favorite?

I've lived in four states and places.....hmmm...... probably close to 10 vairring from houses to apartments. My favorite though would have to be the place I considered home for 10 years before we (my family and I) had to leave. Any even when passing by the place I still consider it home due to all the pleasant , fond and unpleasant memories attached to the that house. My least favorite is a little more difficult but I would have to say the small housing complex we lived in for a bit, due to it was way too small (especially the kitchen and my room) but overall I enjoyed most of the places I called home at some point. It is more decided which I least liked since I liked all my places. probably just grew attached easily *shrugs*

Writer's Block: Tricky Questions

What is your first reaction when someone says "I need to talk to you"?

I would say alarm and curiosity because when you hear that it seems to deal with situations that would not fruitful for you..in other words often the that question is accompanied by either bad news or a favor by the said person asking the question. by feeling curiosity you are wondering what it is they want even if you may feel it is not something you are looking forward to hearing.
Though even if that is what i would feel as I react by turning to them with an open ear there are times as well the outcome is totally unexpected or even good news. Such as for example if one is in school and the professor approaches with the question an imediate reaction I'd have would be did I do something wrong in class even if the reason one finds out is a compliment or giving advice on future work, not telling news that one was doing bad in class.
Yet if one was approached by a friend with the question it is from i noticed the one approached (and I when in such situations.)  expects the friend is asking for a favor or advice, basically asking for something, though often time the one approached (or I) can help out.
But i am rambling and probably not making much sense (shrug). oh well, anyway it would depend on the situation on what level my reaction would be also what i would expect from who approached me that would affect on what my reaction would be.

i think i have rambled enough...hehe.... goodnight.

Writer's Block: Meaningful Words

What is your favorite quote? And why?

View 502 Answers

One of my fav. quotes would be (because I have a lot):

"Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize you're a mile away and you have their shoes."

I love it because it mixes good advice with a little humor, since it is good to look at their point of view before criticizing. But actually walking a mile away to criticize always brought a humorous image to mind plus you have more time to get away if they decide to chase you (after all your a mile away, haha).
